The Process
The works involved the installation of Insulated Return Conductors (IRC) and associated SPS throughout Langbank Cutting. This included planning and coordination with the QTS team to ensure all elements were installed to specification and in line with operational requirements. Careful attention was given to safety standards and technical compliance at every stage of the installation.

Delivery & Results
Alongside the IRC and SPS installation, the project also included the fitting of equipotential and traction bonding to support the safe and reliable operation of the overhead line system. The work was completed to the agreed schedule and technical standards, providing QTS with the required infrastructure to support ongoing operations.
