Project Overview
Between July 2017 and September 2018, ECS delivered a programme of works for GWEP SPL valued at approximately £400K. The scope involved supplying two registration teams to carry out specialist tasks on the project, including rectifying installation issues with tensioning devices, making adjustments to the catenary and contact system, and setting up section insulators.

The Process
ECS’s registration teams worked to resolve identified installation issues, ensuring that all components were aligned and functioning to the correct operational standards. This included precise adjustments to both the catenary and contact systems, as well as the installation and configuration of section insulators. To further support the project, ECS also provided OLEC 5-competent handback supervisors, whose expertise was critical in verifying that the completed works were safe, compliant, and ready for operational handover.

Delivery & Results
Through the combination of skilled registration teams and experienced OLEC 5 supervisors, ECS ensured that all rectification and installation tasks were completed to the highest technical and safety standards. These efforts helped the GWEP project meet its operational requirements, reducing the risk of delays and contributing to a successful delivery.
